Massachusetts allows direct access for physical therapy, so you do not need a referral from the doctor. It is advised to check with your insurance company if a referral is needed for reimbursement.

ELRO Pelvic Health is an out-of-network provider and does not participate directly with insurance companies. This allows us to provide personalized, one-on-one care based on your individual needs—without limitations on treatment time, frequency, or approach dictated by insurance.

Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, ELRO can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by insurance plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your specific benefits.

The initial evaluation at ELRO consists of a 60-90 minute full body assesment. We will thoroughly review your history, current presentation, and goals. You will receive a compreheisve orthopedic exam, assessing posture, strength, range of motion, and more. Depending on findings, you may be recommended an internal (vaginal or rectal) pelvic floor exam, which is reviewed in detail about procedure, potential findings, and effects on current presentation. You will always have the right to decline the internal assessment. Either way, we will be able to gain a great sense of your current status while creating a plan for achieving your goals.
