Meet your PT

Elise Robinson, PT, DPT, PCES is a licensed physical therapist specializing in pelvic health and women’s health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and brings more than a decade of orthopedic experience to her practice.

After having children of her own, Elise was drawn to pelvic floor physical therapy after experiencing firsthand the profound impact pregnancy and postpartum recovery can have on the body. She also came to appreciate how closely the pelvic floor is connected to the rest of the body—and how addressing it as part of a whole-body approach can make a meaningful difference in recovery, strength, and function.

Elise has completed comprehensive pelvic health training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES). Her extensive orthopedic background allows her to blend pelvic floor rehabilitation with orthopedic treatment techniques, looking beyond symptoms to address the body as a whole.

At ELRO Pelvic Health, Elise meets each patient where they are—whether they are just beginning their pelvic health journey, returning to exercise after pregnancy, navigating new symptoms, or working toward greater independence after physical therapy. Education is at the heart of her approach. She believes that understanding your anatomy and the why behind your symptoms and treatment can help you feel more confident in your body and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Whether you’re 18 or 88, it’s never too late to better understand your pelvic floor, build strength, and feel more confident in your body.

Outside the office, Elise loves spending time with her family and dog around the South Shore. You’ll often find her at the beach, getting ice cream at Hornstra Farms, taking a long walk through Bare Cove Park, or making an inevitable Trader Joe’s run. She’s also an avid reader, sourdough-baking enthusiast, and self-proclaimed Peloton fangirl.
